This is when the founders of TIC Travel Insurance Coordinators and Trent Health started their individual businesses, providing Canadians and visitors to Canada with exceptional and affordable insurance products. These family businesses evolved over time as the needs of travellers changed.

In 2004 Co-operators purchased these two established Canadian insurance companies. In 2005 we became a single company under the name TIC Travel Insurance Coordinators Ltd. The new company, one of the largest travel insurers in Canada, is 100% owned by Co-operators Life Insurance Company, part of the Co-operators Group, Canada's largest, Canadian-owned, multi-product insurer.
